Greetings all,

I had the GN out today , It was cold below freezing. The brake pedal was sticking, anyone ever have water / Moisture on the Master cylinder push pedal ? It would be hard to push then break free. Slow to return too. Like the plunger is sticking

But I just took the car for another ride and it was warmed up and the problem is not there.

I've never noticed that with the powermaster or vacuum brakes here in CT.

And I drive mine all winter even in below 0 temps. we get sometimes.

It's been a while since I drove it. Like I said last night after the car was warm no problem. Tried it this morning 9° (f) they where sticking , much better than yesterday . But I left it home today.

When's the last time the fluid was changed? You could have ice. Brake fluid absorbs water/moisture at a rate of 2-3% per year. This process is magnified in more humid conditions. It's prolly the #1 most neglected fluid in all classic cars.

The brake side it self has been several year . The power master pump side about two years ago when I replaced the pump
