Body sheet metal question

I am having my T type painted, and the body shop called me over to show me a kind of dent. There is a kind of wrinkle in the sheet metal around the right side quarter window. Is this common on our cars? Mine is a t tops car, so could this be from body flex? But the original paint wasn't brokem there. Just askin...

Yep it is from body flex. Mine is cracked above the drivers side quarter glass (hardtop). If you don't x braces installed behind the rear seat it's will be a good investment to do so.

It would NOT be another layer. Use either one or the other. The Kirbans GNX brace requires welding for the best application.
The X braces work really good too.

If I’m not mistaken I’ve seen similar wrinkles on stock unabused low mile GN’s.

Check your body bushings and frame while you're at it.. This may be other issues that you need to find before going any further.;)
