I've been searching, but am coming up empty. Isn't there an article somewhere that shows how to replace the power wire with something that works better? Years ago I replaced my window motors with the big ones off of a '79 Regal. I just remember the power source not being sufficient for those beasts.

I started down that thread, but didn't get too far since I'm looking to rewire by big motors since they draw more and used to fry all my switches. On page 2 I found what I was looking for.
Maybe I'll remove the resistor from my old window motors and see how they run. Those big ones really inhibit what kind of speaker you can put in the doors. I had to hack up the back of the Concert II pods and put in some cheap shallow 5.25" speakers.
