1984 Dodge Colt Turbo pocket rocket. 4cyl turbo with 4 speed trans with the power econ shifter making it an 8 speed. Tons of fun and would love to have another one.

I had a 85 GN and a 88 thunderbird turbocoupe with a 5 speed. The thunderbird was a lot of fun for a 4 cyl, pretty quick also!

I just sold an 88 Daytona C/S Turbo.

no i can't remember what # it was. I was 17 at the time and the turbo or something went out on it and i tried to drive it back home and it ended hurting the motor so i sold the car.

It was not till a few yrs ago that i found out that it was a rare breed of the turbo shelby's.


i used to love the 2.2/2.5L turbo dodges.

i would like to get another turbo lancer even the standard dodge version. i think they also made a turbo lebaron on that same body style correct?.


I almost for got that i had a 90 dodge shadow 2.5L turbo 2 non intercooled. that car had roll up windows and a sunroof and a/c with a auto. i started hot-rodding it till it started getting the famous dodge wrist pin knock.

The 2.3T is a stout motor that makes tons of power if the combo is right. My buddy had this motor in his Pinto with a set of Ranger cams a modified GN turbo, homemade front mount, and a 50hp shot....car ran 11.teens all day long!

Im ashamed to admit this but..

I owned a 88 or 89 chrysler lebaron 2.2 turbo, when I was 23 or 24 years old. It was the most expensive car I had bought at the time and had to take a loan for it. The car was brite red and got great gas mileage, and I thought it ran pretty good for a 4 cylinder. I do remember one day when I was driving home thinking I was cool when I was stopped at a red light at which point 3 or 4 guys were standing in front of their house and one of em yelled out "Hey" so I looked over and he continued "Nice Chicks car" . I was soooo pissed but I didnt have a smart ass comeback ready so I yelled out something about his mother and drove off. Man Im gald that car is gone. And if ur that guy who busted my balls ---Ur a jerk!

1994 Chevy Suburban C1500 - tired of making Truck payments

1983 Chevy Suburban C2500 - 454/auto/3.73 bought to tow the enclosed toy box got horrible mileage 6-7 mpg towing the loaded trailer

1999 Chevy Suburban K2500 - 454/4l80E Leather, heated seats, tows like a dream although the mileage isn't a whole lot better OD does help, back to a truck note but the wife is happy not to have to ride in the '83, gets 13-14mpg around town, 9 or so towing the loaded trailer

Forgot to include the Ex- 2002 Ford Excursion, 7.3l turbo diesel; I'd say it's the best multi-purpose vehicle I've ever owned. Stuff me, wife, 4 kids, mom-in-law, and our stuff inside; hook up an 8k# boat & trailer, and motor along happily at about 16 mpg without drama.

Did the same thing in a 1992 Suburban K2500 w/ the 454- 7 mpg, terrible acceleration, and limited to about 35/40 mph on just about any grade.
