I knew the 1,200 mile X seller looked familiar , it is The Toy Barn back again to try their luck . Remember last year at BJ Palm Beach with their 385 mile ( riveted body side molding X ) , pulled $150k .

Believe this is the Todd Whitworth WE4 that just sold at the GAA auction a month or so ago for $15,900 . Hammered at $26,900 here at BJ Palm Beach .

EDIT... I just realized you wrote that the 1200 mile one sold. Can't wait to see what the 17 mile one sells for.

My guess... $139k.

Lot #397 - 1987 Buick GNX #438 - 1200 original miles that sold for Hammer Price $117,700.00 - which includes the buyers commission... what does Barrett-Jackson charge as the no-reserve sellers fee and buyers commission?

Apparently the 17 mile gnx had a reserve. Bidding stopped at 115k. The 17 mile gnx had a noticeable flaw on the passenger side fender, like a factory defect or a repaint. Maybe thats what kept the bidding from going higher. Other than that, it looked like a 17 mile car. Very nice.

So there is no confusion , they did not air the 1,200 mile X , I watched it via live stream , it " hammered " at $107k x 10% buyer fee ( $10,700) = $117,700 .
The 17 mile X , they did air , hammered with a reserve not met at $115k . They were probably hoping for $150k + , after seeing the 362 mile X last year hammer at $150k .

Wow someone made a quick $10k. I'm surprised it went for that much. I know where a 16k mile we4 is that will be for sale and I'm trying to gauge how much it's worth.
