I've had trouble with this in the past. 2.25 are too small and 2.5 are too big. I think ATR made them an odd size. I'm talking about "real" v-band clamps not the cheezy ones that come with the headers.

If you want the best id mock up everything on the engine and cut the crap flanges off and weld on rigid stainless ones. They will seal perfectly without gaskets and use they use the nice clamps.
