anyone tell me production numbers on the designer series regals D84

I am purchasing a supposedly rare designer series turbo regal and am curious of the production numbers and possibly how rare it is.
I have had a black and silver WH1 1986 in the past and I think it was a little over 200 made.

this car is the following:
87 limited turbo T regal D84 two tone blue in color.
half vinyl top, plush bench seat, column shift, opera lights

any ideas or point me in the right direction?

I was told around 235 for the 87 model.

so your thinking that in 87 there were 1,035 total limited turbo cars... but only 235 were D84's..???
that would be neat...
wish I could find a link or someone to call on that.....
but I hope your right.

463 of the 86 WH-1. If memory serves correctly its around a 500 on the D-84 which was a $174 option in 87.

I tried ... its hit and miss.. they have some VINS others got thrown away ..

The problem is that it gets complicated in that they made X number of D84 regals ....

They were offered in 4 color two tones ... silver, blue , maroon, brown so you have a split there.

Then even fewer were equipped with the T package
Then even fewer were equipped with the Turbo LC2
Then even fewer were equipped with the Limited package
Then even fewer were landau tops
Then even fewer had opera lights ...

Its Rare ... very very rare .. so rare .. I bet you never see another one like it ... maybe a handful made

its coming with quite a bit of original paperwork...so I will do more inspecting once I get it.

The brown and chestnut is pretty rare but had has a repaint and according to friend of mine that has a D84 car the repaint is wrong. I'm not sure but that is what he said when he saw the car. He has the two tone blue.
