Went to the track last Sunday and beat my personal best . Best Et : 9.65@139.72
Best Mph: 140.67
Best 60ft: 1.36
My best ET was with the dump closed because I got my best 60ft on that run. It is an electric exhaust opener and I forgot to open it. Best Mph was with the dump opened but wasn’t able to duplicate another 1.36 to maybe get the car in the 9.5s. I thought the open was going to give more but in the end it is about 1mph more.

I salute you, sir. Damn, that's haulin' the groceries.........

The build I'm doing now, I'm hoping for a 9.99, but I think my driving skills will likely prohibit that. ;)

Very low 10's is nothing to sneeze at though, not for a street car with no bar.

Thanks TurboTGuy!
I hope you achieve your goal to hit a nine second run. Was a while I was waiting for my car to get into the nines and I finally accomplished it. Feels great for a street car and no roll bar as well here.

I’m surprised your able to 60 ft so well on low boost. That 6870 is doing work. I heard from some people that the 6870 is a lazy turbo, but no doubt it’s working on your combo.

The 68/70 spools great for me . My 9.81@140 I came out at 3.5 lbs of boost and did a 1.51 sixty foot, it spun a little. I found out the trick with my car to get a great sixty foot is nothing more than 2.5 lbs off the line. If I could launch at 5 to 6 lbs it would be great but the last time at the track that was what I was doing and I was spinning out of the hole every time. For me to come out harder out of the box with more boost I would have to invest in some better suspension parts.

No I decided to buy a car where the windows actually roll down lol no J/K I just wanted something a little more modern I guess but I prefer a TR over what I have to be honest. I will surely get another TR sooner or later.

No more Buick?

I
you earned it!enjoy that slip and the ride!and kept the 200;)
I am so happy with my 200R4. David did a great job and he really knows what he is doing. I posted my days at the track on Facebook and on turbobuick, but don’t know if he saw either post. Would have to give him a call one of these days.
