After a recent rebuild he is seeing 1000 psi line pressure. I think thats way too high but I know very little. His complaint is lack of power. Just curious thanks. That psi is is the 1000-1400 rpm. So idle into drive I guess..

1000psi has to be a mistake. The case typically pops at much less than that.

Your max line pressure should be 200- 250
