Many of us run external wastegate.
On 1 of my cars I have a .96ar and a 125 ar twin scroll.
On another car 3 bolt 85 ported to max.
Both vented to atmosphere.
Spool time is based on alot of factors
Cam compression turbo being used converter gearing etc.
