(Amendments noted in Orange -6/19/11)

General : TSR is a class designed for everyone! With a NO LIMIT on turbo, No restriction on Engine, No restriction on Trans, No restrictions on rear ends, pretty much allows anyone and everyone to be able to have a class to race in with as minimal restrictions as possible. Scott,
If Clint gives me the ok, I would like to have this class at Reynold's.

Tsr

After starting this class last year and seeing the decent car count we had for the very first race it was almost sad to see this class be left back so with the advice from others on starting it back up I decided to start it up again but this time with a new twist. The twist is, now all THS cars that competed last year will fit into TSR this year. Not to leave out the True street tire cars I will personally give away prizes to the fastest car on street tires (Not a Drag Radial) plus this class has picked up new sponsorship for the 2011 season. We look forward to having you all race with us and have a great year of winning some decent Cash money & prizes

Scott

This sounds like one heck of a class, I am looking forward to seeing the car count for this class. It looks like you have some great sponsorship already. Now its time to go racing.

Will this class be at all the buick events?

A drag radial class??? Thats awesome....

Most of the local races have gone this direction so I can run them and the events with the same tires...I like it.

plugs and ring question

How do the plugs and rings work?
Do we have to take off the air intake and intercooler pipe of the compressor and exhaust respectively?

The plug would be for turbo and rings ar to measure the mm of compressor and exhaust wheel?
who will measure all of this and be in charge at each race?
Asking as I know they did this in TSM in the past but never really saw what how etc

Precision Turbos

Just as I was thinking about changing back to the original cover that came on my turbo and trying TSR I see the cover that came on my turbo is illegal as it has the holes drilled in it?
What is the point in not allowing these covers if they came this way from Precision?
Are you against Precision turbos?

Clay,
The turbo check is real easy. Just pull the MAF pipe off and someone will measure the compressor opening. If you want to run your other turbo, it looks like you may need to swap covers. This is still way, way cheaper and easier than converting it to a THS turbo. That requires sending the turbo in and getting a new backing plate and cover.

The ported shroud turbo was an oversight in the rules by me and it should be allowed. with that being said and this the starting of the new race year and no races have ran yet I will gladly change that rule and allow the ported shrouds. Just trying to make things easier for the racers!

Sweet!
I always liked the look of my s cover and wished I could have ran it!
Mainly because it sounded really cool driving it around, prb not faster but sound a lot better than the one I have now

I see any waste gate is allowed so if my is an external waste gate exhausted to the atmosphere then it's allowed? Just wanted to verify.

Looks like there's a NEW DOG in town!!!

Great job Scott, way to keep the ball ROLLIN!!!

Who say's you can't teach an OLD DOG NEW TRICKS!!!

I'M IN!!!!

see ya all at the races!!!

Scott,
If Clint gives me the ok, I would like to have this class at Reynold's.

Shouldnt be a problem to add TSR to the Reynolds schedule. Should be a great addition to all the other race classes, just more fun for everyone!!

I would like to welcome all the racers to the TSR class. it looks to be a exciting class.

I hope to see some new faces along with some old ones in the staging lanes.

This class sure seems to open the doors even more over THS. When one runs a true street radials the sky is almost the limit on the TURBO.

Could we see a TSM car with street tires. Hope you guys can drive on ice !!

would be great if my car would fit into this class? ie;my tank, fuel lines, etc??
