yes will it work without doing anything to it just using a gn converter are the plugs on the side the same or will I have to rep in it ? as always thanks in advance.

Should swap right in but the gov/vb is set up for the 3.73 gears in the 442.

vb and governor are a set. when someone starts to do the mix and match the shift points can get really goofed up.

If you are going to do some swapping I would swap the vb and the gov

would you happened to the part number for the screen that goes with the 5.5 deep extreme pan bottom pick upI know its a 700 screen but cant find it.

The 442 (KZ-F code) trans will install just fine, but around town shifting will be very quick at 12, 18 and 24 mph, while the BR will be 14, 22, and 43 mph. It will 4-3 coast down at 20 mph beside 37 mph of the BR. Most other characteristics are very close.

Wouldn't the KZ shift a little later being it is calibrated for 3.73's? It would require a faster output shaft speed to maintain the same speed as a BR with 3.42's. If the car has 3.42's the vehicle speed would have to be higher for the KZ to shift gears.
