1996 GS Nationals Video

no enough sidewall there to be a great street tire for hooking.i mean that in size and how the sidewall is designed.and they dont give any belly to belly specs vs contact patch.the ss is an easy tire to spin on the street because the sidewall is too stiff.you can only compromise so much.one tire cant do everything, you must choose.might be a good tire with vht and a good prepped track.

Gotcha. Seriously looking at the ET Street Radial Pro for good bite on an unprepped street. I know you have experience with these, are they tires you slap on just before a race? Or are they safe for extended periods on the street (no rain)?

yes they are safe and you can get alot of time on them depending on the burnouts and if the car is really hooking.they were really the 1st drag radial that i saw that would get down the road black tracking, biting and still moving the car with wheelspin.the r tire is a street legal version of the pro they are pretty close
