Hi guys ,selling my TTA provided I get my number , in other words ,not a fire sale ,do not need to sell it ,but am pursuing a different venue.
I have owned it for 3 years now ,bought it with 15,485 miles and now has 16,478.
I am a very particular owner , I like low mile ,clean orig cars , so when doing my search for a TTA I looked at about 5 or 6 before finding this one.
There were lower mile ones ,but were not in the condition they should have been with low miles.
When I got the car it was told to me that the rear main seal leaks ,as they all do ,so was expecting to do a rear main in it.
When I went to do the job , I could see it was already done ,and the oil pan gasket was the culprit of the leak. They did a rubber gasket ,which had squished and cracked !!!!
I used the Kirban extra thick cork one ,installed it ,off the lift ,20 minute warm up drive, back on the lift for a very light snug on the bolts.
This format resulted in a very leak free system. This is probably one of the most leak free TTA / TB's I've seen !!! Very happy with it .
Even the trans does not have any pink saturation along the pan gasket.
Maybe after a couple hundred mile drive , you might have a single drip or two ,but again ,this car is NOT a leaker. You can buy this one with confidence.
Everything works very well on the car ,gauges ,radio(including steering wheel controls),flip up headlights ,and especially the A/C which is still on R12 and has worked fine since I've owned it.
One thing I did discover ,and I don't know why as the car has not been molested or modified(orig exhaust and cat still there never removed),but when I had the oil pan off and looking up inside the engine ,there is a Comp roller cam it in and a double roller timing chain.
On a good note ,you now do not need to add zinc additives to it.
The car is 100 % stock otherwise ,and pulls very hard !!!!
It does not have the orig tires on it ,it currently has Bridgestone Potenzas.
The car is all orig paint with the exception of the repo rear spoiler as most have done.
The glass is awesome on this car.
The interior is way above average for even this 16k mile car ,steering wheel is mint !!The drivers seat side lumbar that usually suffers cracks is also way above average ,looks like a 5k mile car.
The only flaw in the interior I would speak of is unfortunately the headliner is starting to fall alittle.
The car has the orig window sticker as well as the ADM sticker ,owners kit ,lots of memorabelia, shop manual, supplemental owners manual ,and as a bonus that few have ,the press preview kit.
The engine compartment also is very ,very clean ,and nice ,again looks like a 5k mile car ,orig spark plug wires still there and all !!!!
I am confident whoever comes to see/drive it would not be disappointed.
I feel I am pricing it aggressively to complete a sale ,I am not being arrogant ,but I cannot take off thousands so please ,no low ball offers.
If you are searching for a low mile orig car ,ready to get in and enjoy(no rear main seal needed ,LOL) here it is.
I am starting out putting it here to for members to see/pass the word on.
The car is in central Connecticut ,just south of Hartford.
Asking $23,400 or best offer.
PM me to get more info or phone number to contact me.
Thank you ,Paul
