This is my personal car, one of the cars that I own and thought I'd never sell - but I plan and God laughs...

I bought this from a good friend of mine who passed away a few years ago. I've driven it about 15 miles since buying it. He owned the car for 37 years and drove it 3k miles. He bought it from the original owner in 1978, a mechanic at a Pontiac dealership, at the time the car has 8k miles on it. Today it's showing 11,681 actual miles. It seems to have most of its original Starlight Black paint and the Firethorne Red interior is flawless. The car still has most of the original hoses and belts on it along with the original exhaust and red floor mats. It still has the original tires mounted on the original body colored Rally wheels, but I may be taking the BFG tires off the snowflake wheels soon and put them on the rally wheels which I like better. I'll keep the original tire but one is blown. I have the PHS Docs and a repop window sticker, along with all the original owner/dealer manuals and documents. Some options include the W72 400 Pontiac Engine, backed by a 4-spd trans. Tilt Wheel, AC, AM-FM stereo (one speaker in front and one speaker in the rear), door edge guards, and a couple other things I have forgotten. The hood decal was not ordered, however there is a now-unavailable NOS decal in its GM tube in the trunk (I've been offered $1,000 for that decal). The car runs and drives great - the paint is VERY NICE and is extremely presentable. The original brake drum clips are still on the drums as are all the decals for the leaf springs, coil springs, and sway bars. Surface rust on the unprotected metal is all that's ugly under the car. Two sets of keys are included, the spare tire, fill cannister, jack assembly, CB antenna, and the box for the CB (the vintage Midland unit is VELCRO'd to the console - no holes! ), along with the hood decal are in the trunk. I have a 77 pontiac shop manual as well. Asking price is $49,500 - thanks.

I agree, the car looks naked w/o the optional hood decal, thanks....

Love the red interior. My buddy has a black 78 with white interior and a 4 speed. 26k orig miles. TTT and GLWS!

Right?

I have the original b/c (Body Colored) rally wheels back on the car now, the car isn't screaming for the hood bird as much now. The Snowflakes I think made the car without the bird look out of place.
