i want to get 17in street lites for my 87 turbo regal. i have stock brakes. whats the best wheel size and back spacing for the front and back of my car?

if i want to do brake upgrades will the rims still fit?

I'm not sure about the rear but from what I've read with the front ls1 upgrade it pushes the wheel out 3/8".
