.001 oversized mains? MS-960p ?

So I have calico coated MS-960p main bearings. My clearances are tight and I would like to have a set of oversize 0.001 bearings to try to mix and match and I can have them coated. I can't find anything that shows the ms960p as being available in +.001. Any suggestions or NOS parts anyone knows of?

Equal alternative to the tri-metal clevite?

So you want to tighten the gap more ? I thought you said you were tight now.

Yo need to have the crank polished to loosened the clearances.

I was hoping to find .001 over size bearings not under. But I haven't found any. I think it will need re-line honed because the main bores are at or a ten thou below minimum spec. My tightest oil clearance (about .001) is the tightest bore which measures 2.6869"

They are out there. Sometimes referred to as extra oil clearance bearings. Clevite part number ends in X. Maybe not for buicks though

I believe they have them listed incorrectly since they have the .010 listed as + also. I believe they are actually 0.001 under

HX 1398 for rods, HX for mains are discontinued as far as I know. 2.6875 is where we shoot for the main bores. Polish the crank a few 10's and open the bore a few 10's as well. As in .0001's
