    Heading back to Europe (Germany)

I thought when I retired from the United States Air Force, my opportunity to live in Europe again had gone away. I was pretty lucky in my military time to have been stationed at Soesterberg in Holland (1990-1992), Lajes Field, Portugal (1994-1996) and NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen in Germany from...

    Battery tender,..do they work?

I've had the same Battery Tender since 1997. Have used it on cars, motorcycles, and jet skis. Well worth the money as others have stated. I also dropped mine hard enough to put a big dent in it in the early 2000's, but it didn't even phase it. Rob

    Upgrade headlights

Do you know what brand of headlights they are and what specifications (E-Code, DOT, or some hybrid DOT/E-Code) they meet? I couldn't find anything on Kirban's site. I also noticed the kit looks to include four H4 headlamps (which are designed to work as both a low and high beam). I used...

    Audi S5 with a V8 gets schooled

Never tried it at the track, but I think I read it runs 14.9 or so in some magazine a few years back. You really have to abuse the clutch to get it to launch well. It's pretty quick to about 70-75 but then slows down a bit.

    Audi S5 with a V8 gets schooled

So there I was… My wife, son and I just got finished having some barbeque pork chops and a rib eye at Cooper’s Barbeque. We were slowly making our way home on a 55 mph two lane road when a newer blue Audi S5 comes flying up to the back of my car. The speed limit drops down to 45 and then...

Anyone know of a T type or GN for sale in TX?

Tony, Is this the guy who had the white GN? Rob in San Antonio
  17. S

    Performance issues.

Sounds like it might be a fuel pump issue. Had a friends car do exactly the same thing with a bad pump.

A/C problems help the new guy?

You need to make sure you have a vacuum line running to the three way port by the firewall. It sounds like you disconnected it when you did the EGR delete.

    neat and a/c control

Check valve is in front of the EGR valve in the vacuum hose. Black on one side, white on the other.
