Unfortunetly since the cluster was changed before he purchased and it wasn't documented the mileage isn't accurate, but the carfax showed 40K a couple years ago when he purchased it so it's probably around 60K by his estimation.

It's a hall effect output on the distributor, not a standard inductive pickup. I just had someone suggest that it may be the wiring coming out of the distributor it's self, guess it's a common problem with the Accell's. I'm going to call them tomarrow and find out but I'm still a bit concerned...

Did you ever get this working? I was told that black was signal ground, white was the signal out and red was the power for the dizzy? I'm not getting any signal to the ECU at this point though and I'm not sure that I'm correct. :(
