Do you mean the thermostat housing? The Motorad CH4853 works on those intakes. There needs to be a gasket under that top plate. You can use one for a Holley Dominator carb and drill the other 2 bolt holes. The opening is the same size.

The Weiand intake in the picture is missing the top plate that the carb mounts to. When they were initially released, different top plates with different mounting patterns were available depending on what type of carb you wanted to use. You could delete that EGR valve and make block off plates for the intake manifold and the plenum out of steel or aluminum. You'll probably have to make your own gasket or use high temp sealer.

Is this what you're calling an EGR manifold?

I think the 1980 turbo intake manifold is nearly identical to the '78-'79 except it is aluminum. If that is the case, I might have some of those pieces from an earlier engine. No wiring though.

As far as I know, there were only two manufacturers of 84-85 headers of this design, Kenne Bell and Hooker. What little information there is leads me to believe these are from Hooker. The Kenne Bell headers apparently used V band connections. Two of the pipes in the picture are the 2 1/2"...

Can anyone ID these headers? I think they are they are a new old stock set of Hooker headers for the 84-85 hot airs.

The Fel Pro head bolts should have come with thread sealer already on them. Just double check the lengths against the factory bolts to make sure you got the right ones.

You can reuse the factory main cap bolts and rod bolts. The head bolts are torque to yield and can't be reused.
