    Stage 2 power baby......

Dave, Great Job!!! As for Joe Copson's car. Joe & I built Joe's first car. I believe that car was stolen. From where I don't know? Also Joe & I never had a falling out. He had bought another car and wanted to run in the 8's. That was to fast for me at the time. I also believe Joe, Dale Cherry...

fastes tta with tta heads an sg1 block

Sweet6, thats a good running car! You might still have some left in it. As for Rodney's car I put a TTA motor in the car for Fred Vetter when he owned it. Fred wanted to set records with it. He always had a habit of doing that! It has unported stock valve TTA heads on it. Steve Kaminski

fastes tta with tta heads an sg1 block

I have gone 10.20 @ 22lbs. on C16 No alky. What I think is impressive is Rodney & Ted Derikson's TTA has gone 10.80's with a stock motor. Stock heads, turbo, intercooler, intake, plenum etc. I beleive it holds 8 NHRA records!!!! Anyway with the new technology and Razor's Alky out there somebody...

    TTA belt length question

Its real simple the K060630 is a 6 grove 63" long belt. The last three digits are the length. The GN belt is 64" long. The Napa belt is 62.3" long and will work best. Steve K.

How Many STAGE 2 TTA's Out There?

Yup. Joe don't mess around. As you get older I guess low 8s just don't cut it! You don't know how many passes down the quarter you have left. So you have to do it as fast as possible. The faster you can get down there the more passes you can make.:D Steve K.

Ed, Thanks for the pic. Yea I forget the guys name also. Dave Husek and I were just talking about him a few weeks ago. I think he passed away? Bob or Bill? I have the cam specs around here somewhere. He had sold me three of those cams. He built the short block, I forget who did the heads...

How Many STAGE 2 TTA's Out There?

NyBlankets, I had that picture but lent it out and never got it back. I would like to have a copy. Could you post it or email it to me? That was the car I built for Joe. Not the car in the pics above. We had a 274 Stage 2 bottom end with a gutted set of M&A heads, ported stock intake & throttle...

How Many STAGE 2 TTA's Out There?

This is the only one I know of. And may have been the one on Yellowbullet. It was originally built and raced by Joe Copson. Sold to Dave Koppel he repainted it. Rebuilt the motor and raced it. Dave sold it to Harry Anderson then he traded it for a killer Lightning. Steve K.

How Many STAGE 2 TTA's Out There?

Are you talking about a real Stage 2 or a Stage 2 bottom end? Because its not a Stage 2 unless it has the Stage 2 heads and intake. Steve K.
