I was torquing down my Champion Heads and pulled the threads out of the block on one hole. I had to remove head to repair. Block is at machine shop. Can I still use the gaskets or do I need to get new ones?

Well any ideas on fixing this problem? I was at 50 lbs when it broke loose. Using ARP bolts.

I have the engine out, I have pulled the heads, the intake or head gaskets look fine. So where is the water coming from? I have receiver grooves cut in the heads. Running Felpro 1007 gaskets. Any ideas?:confused:

Wanting to install 5658 front springs. Do I need a spring compressor for the removal of the old springs or install of the new springs? Or any other special tools?:confused:

:confused: Dads new engine does not have enough oil pressure. Can I change the spring in the oil pump to give it more pressure?

Does the Champion intake use the stock pvc grommett or do you have to get a different one?:confused:

I am having a clearance problem with the alternator bracket and front of the intake. Do I need to buy the Champion accessory bracket or is there a trick to this install?:confused:

I need a flexplate for a internally balanced engine. I think the crank is a cat crank. The machine shop ordered one called THE WHEEL but the bolt pattern on the crank does not match. Any suggestions?:confused:

Is anyone using this damper? If so did u put it on your car out of the box? The instructions say to have your machine shop check your damper against your existing one to make sure it is balanced right. This crankshaft is new I do not have a existing damper to compare it to. :confused:

My dads oil pump has an piece that is not on mine. it is a plate in between where the gears and theoil filter goes. there are pins that line up withhis old front cover the new cover hasno holes.
