I got the flexplate bolts from Napa and installed the flexplate on my 4.1. It seems that the bolts would not go in all the way so I used lock washers and Locktight 271 and they seated. My question is, do you use lock washers and what should the right lenght be for the bolts? The Trans. and...

Will a timing cover from a 3.8 with SFI and distributorless ignition fit onto a non SFI and Non DIS block? I want to switch to a DIS, SFI system in the future and need the info. Thanks

Is it possible and (or) what would be involved to put a DIS ignition with the crank trigger and MPI intake, wiring and all the related stuff onto a 4.1 with Distributor ignition? The motor is out of the car now and I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

Does anyone know how a draw through carb would work on a NA motor, carb #170592430 0419 CKD. The motor is a 4.1 with bigger valves, 2" intake I think, and the cam is two steps above stock. The guy I got the motor from hasn't given me the specs. on the cam yet. And would I want to use headers or...
