    Speeduino ECU's in Buicks?

Anyone looking lately at using Speeduino ECU devices with our Buicks? I've seen these a bit over the past few years running far newer/more complicated vehicles. As an open-source Linux-y computer guy now with some motorhead roots, seems an eventual evolution vs. the Holley and Haltech ECU's. I'm...

    RUST!! HELP!!!

So like 30 years ago, I took a grinder into the quarter panel of my GN, and it was years of fuckery that GM didn't properly rust bond their metals, and it all went down hilll from there. All cars die because of stupidity.

    RUST!! HELP!!!

Rust treat it chemically, stop the rusting, reverse the damage. Any various rust treatment top and bottom, it deserves nothing less.

Vacuum brake pedal or vacuum conversion kit

These days thinking about an electric rack and pinion setup, mine was already vacuum boost when I got it. Anyone else done this yet on a g-body? If nothing else, I'd put an electric vacuum pump on it next time I got frisky to save the dead man's pedal in boost.

    HYDROBOOST

Anyone using an electric vacuum motor these days? Seems the rage for electric conversions, seems right at home for those oh shit moments you're standing on the pedal and something pulls in front of you that you hate turbo engines. Folks tend to use a cheap volvo unit, I was looking at one for...

    Swapped to a 4L80E

Awesome, thank you for the feedback on this setup! I've been considering the same vs. spending a bunch of cash on a 200r4, but didn't find a lot about folks doing so already. All in all, do you have a rough idea of all the cost you'd put into the conversion? I'm not looking for massive power...

Vintage Air new HVAC kit for 82/87 Buick Turbo cars

Thus the inquiry, hoping after 30-40 years folks have gone down all the rabbit holes by now. I know the r134a conversion wasn't all that, but there wasn't a whole kit like the VA setup in the 90's when I was still wrenching mostly. I'm really curious how folks like the VA kit vs. stock or 134a...

Vintage Air new HVAC kit for 82/87 Buick Turbo cars

Side note along these lines, anyone found any better hacks or upgrades for the AC over time on these? I was contemplating finding a newer and more efficient condenser for the front, maybe other hacks, but lots is undesirable about AC from this era to just replace it wholesale.

Vintage Air new HVAC kit for 82/87 Buick Turbo cars

I was looking through these lately, as I did a r134a mod ~25yr ago on my GN, and it was never quite the same with stock parts being in AZ. I found Nick's site with the Vintage air kit, but their setup is... dated vs something like the Restomodair kits that include the likes of bluetooth...

    What Would Be Causing This

I started watching TB again not too long ago as I'd like to work up my old GN and watching for parts, I'm doing so via RSS feeds as a feature of the site. I suppose this includes the whole site, which normally is fine, as I'm down with all things buick from problems to people ideally selling...

    Bluetooth for OEM Stereo

I was thinking going more the other direction from stock 80's style and how to mount a 10-12" tablet in that space ala tesla. Pretty much every OEM has a shit stereo system vs. just something like android I can put my own music player app on, or something like Torque app as well for engine...

    Maf translator pro

I was wondering about that same question, as I have a translator from the 90's still, and wondering if upgradeable or if it simply needs replaced. Looking to up sizing to a z06 maf and a 4" intake kit with the refresh, not at all sure if I can use with my ancient Translator or update it to do...

    CTS-V/C7 Brembo 6-Pistion Conversions?

That is awesome feedback, thank you very much for that! I can see the stock-like rims being problematic as they didn't account for things like that vs. most modern rims used to working with larger brakes on cars, which I'm looking more at for my GN. I wouldn't be opposed to using spacers to...

    CTS-V/C7 Brembo 6-Pistion Conversions?

Hi All, long time stalker here, having owned my 86 GN since 96 or so, but looking now at resurrecting her as she's sat for 20 years with a crap trans and various tlc needed. Looking around at modern tech, I came across bigbrakeupgrade.com with a kit to use the big Brembo's from CTS-V/ZL1...
