I just checked the chip in my 84 T Type and found it is the Hypertech 424 012. I have seen some negative comments about this chip. How does it differ from the stock chip? I looked on their web site and they still sell this chip but don't list any information on it. Thanks

My 84 came with a solid mounted cooling fan. Really loud. Was the clutch fan from the factory adequate for cooling? Street driven with occasional brisk driving.

Did the 84 hot air engine come with valve cover breathers? Mine has an oil fill cap on the DS and the PS valve cover has a washer and bolt where I think a breather hole was. I see photos of an oil fill extension on the DS. Did that have a breather? Learning every day about this cool car...

I just purchased an 84 T Type that the previous owner said the engine was rebuilt by a shop called Engine Boys. Is anyone familiar with this shop and any contact information for them. I would like to contact them to get information on when the engine was rebuilt. Thanks for any information.
