    Wanted to know everyone opinion on powder coating a intake. Seen in a few places where they say its a disadvantage, cause it holds heat and the aluminum intake is designed to dissipate Heat.... So im assuming it would lose performance with holding more heat then normal... Whats your take...

    Okay well here's the deal I finally got my oil pan off of my 1985 hot air hybrid and come to find out the motor is toast spun a bearing and now I'm in the process of trying to figure out if I want to buy a 109 reman long block which will cost me no more than 1600 with a three-year unlimited...

    Oil Pump - No Oil Pressure

    Well pull oil pump and as you can see on the gears I have two big chips one on each gear also very deep grooves on the actual bottom of the pump itself and was wondering would this cause the engine to lose oil pressure even though I'm about install a new high volume oil pump

    Ok im back, had no oil pressure Till i primed the oil pump... Let it ran for a min and started hearing a light knock, pulled value cover while was running and no oil pumping....     AND ITS ALIVE, ALIVE!!!!!!

    Well tonight was a great day for my hot air hybrid 89 s10.... Finally got it to fire up.... Felt great.... Will be working on the final things tomorrow... Vacuum hoes, water pump belt, and a few other lil things, and off to Dino.... Cant wait....

    I have a 85 hot air, 86-87 ecu, 60lbs injectors, ta33 turbo, Direct scan, and msd boost controler.. My question is.. My msd boost control has a plug for a map, with that being said do i just plug my map in it and delete the map Wiring from the stock wiring harness...
