Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

Or..... I noticed that my mounts didn’t quite match the instruction pictures, just a little bit different in the bolt hole outside radii. I noticed that they weren’t on the right side that the pic showed. Hard to explain but I attached a pic so look close. scouring the forums I found a guy...

Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

Here’s the rebuttal for that thinking, obviously the aftermarket is making a killing selling car specific mounts and kits, so then why can one of them make a kits where all truck accessories fit a specific car since the large majority are using stock truck motors? They’re making them for...

Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

Went to put my Hooker 12643HKR mounts on and there’s no way they clear the stock truck ac bracket. Not even close

Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

I’m not sweating notching the frame as much as rerouting the ac lines around the turbo.

Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

I hear different answers on that, with the Holley mounts it’s supposed to, and I’ve heard some guy have no issues clearing the frame. Not sure on mine yet, haven’t got that far, hopefully this week.

Anyone Running AC with their LS? Pics?

Want to run ac and leave everything in stock location, anyone have success? I’m building an ‘85 Regal, 5.3/4l60e, 78mm, stock truck accessories and ac. Would love to see some pics if anyone is running the same combo, not interested in changing accessory mounts or compressor. Thanks

    Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Tank

After looking at all the pics and getting behind my car, looks like you can’t see it regardless if driving behind it cause it’s so tucked up there. I have to be down practically sitting on the ground to even see mine.

    Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Tank

Picked mine up at Summit Racing, just make sure you get the Gen II it’s less money and much better pump and build. That’s right from the Aeromotive guys mouth.

    Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Tank

Picked up an Aeromotive Gen 2 Stealth fuel tank and pump combo, 340lph. They powder coat them silver, but I’m half tempted to paint it black so it doesn’t stand out. Anyone have a silver tank that could post a pic of it on the car? I’d like to see what it looks like going down the road before I...

    Horn Internals

Nope, has a layer of primer and two coats of paint, no bare spots. I thought it was odd also.

    Horn Internals

Ok, thanks Tricksixpa, unplugged the horns, put the wire in place and put it all together and it works. Foam is old and crumbling so might have to replace that one day. Thank again.

    Horn Internals

I had wondered if it was that sandwiched foam that was like the spring, but then why would the horn go off just from putting the wire in the tube?

    Horn Internals

Hoping someone can explain how the GN/T Type horn buttons work. I have a plain Jane Regal that I’m putting a t type steering wheel on and have pieced together the parts. The steel contact part with the wire that connects to the horn feed was severely rusted so I got all the rust off and painted...
