Never saw this access panel when I looked at the car. I'm the second owner. The access panel was cut on the back (firewall) side of the passenger inner fender.

Had my front passenger wheelwell off and when I was reinstalling it I noticed what appears to be a square cut out on the back side of the inner front fender on passenger side. It seems factory byou the cut and I think it has tabs but not sure.. is this normal or did someone do this for access...
