    Bowling Green GS nats

Car only ran 11.15's on 21 # of boost due to driver error all week can we say rev limiter, new convertor is going to take a bit to get used too. I think the combo has a lot more in it. (21 pounds of boost was fun and safe) Motor needs new rings real bad it's been in there a while but wanted...

    how capable are these cars?

I would dump the stock ecm and upgrade to an 86-87 to have more tuning ability, upgrade injectors, fuel pump, go with razor's kit or run e85 and have my fuel lines upgraded. The stock turbo would be another limiting factor but I know Bison is working on this. Exhaust, 3 inch down pipe, like...

    how capable are these cars?

I only know of 2 members that have ran in the 10's, but with that being said if you want a 13 second car and you are willing to do the homework and put in the time it's doable.

    THS rules discussion for 2013

Only change would be for the nonintercooled that since we don't have to run a/c we can have a a/c delete box on our cars.

    Why Are HotAir Cars Slow?

Just to clarify since someone seems so concerned, I have always ran billet center caps and a girdle on my motors, thus the bottom end has been beefed up a bit. I agree a diet would be nice since the car still comes in around 3725-3735 with a full tank of gas. I know that adds weight but I think...

    Time to go big

. Just FYi John has been running his hot air for a number of years and has ran some very impressive times. Regarding the Intake I don't think it would hurt your combination at all but it is a large investment, keep us posted on your health and how things are going for you over the winter

    Why Are HotAir Cars Slow?

Not unless you're buying, besides I've accomplished all I've done on stock block, stock rod and crank. I don't need an aluminum block to go fast, I'll just stick with what I have for now. But Thanks for thinking of me. LOL
