I just remember that I used the white paste-like compound delivered in a plastic bag together with the ARP’s on the threads. I don't now if the compound was Permatex but it must have been thread sealing. The grease I used on the washers side against the bolt head.

Before installation of the new gaskets the heads were milled. No overheating.

hi At 4000rpm when the boost reach appr.5 psi the engine drops and the sound of the engine sounds like do do do do. I have install anew turbo and MAF with translator. Appreciate all help I can get regards Jan

hi After replacing the turbo from ta60 to t66 and MAF to 3,5" and translator the ideal speed is 2100 rpm. I have adjusted the TPS voltage to 0,42V at idel. Please advise how to decrease the idel speed. I need to get down to 1000 rpm to make a pressure test of the trans. best regards Jan

no I did not dismantle the linkage. I just dismantle the connection nut to the trans. I checked the ECM code and the only code I got was" service engine soon" nothing more.

I did not know About this forum at that time. I found the trans at E-bay and though that the trans should be OK. Due to the transportation cost and the taxes, custom fees the trans cost me 2200 $. I hope that someone could do something about this unserious company.
