He didn’t initially call out the builders name but made it clear it was just built by someone. It looks like he was fishing and waiting for someone to pop the question as to who built it and then he was quick to vent all of the other stuff Steve messed up not having to do with the issue at hand...

Phil, I am a mechanic....I’ve worked on various types of vehicles for almost 20 years and a aircraft mechanic for 14 years. My job now with aircraft is quality assurance....I have an eye and ear for things that most are blind to by trade. When I heard your engine run, on the run stand and in...

Phil, bringing up the rockers needing adjusted is irrelevant to the problem your having now so why are you still trying to bring all the dirt you have on Steve V up....we get it, you will never go to him again not trust him, that is completely your right to believe that. But I will say he did...

All I’m saying is I’ve had to readjust rockers in the past and it wasn’t because I didn’t adjust them right in the first place. And I had a time with Harland Sharps where I had to within 1000 miles of building the engine. There are some things that no matter how much money you spend on an...

Either way, that didn’t hurt anything and is a simple job. They will have to be readjusted again one day FYI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And guess what....I’ve had to readjust my rockers in the past. That doesn’t mean I didn’t adjust them correct in the first place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your block is not destroyed....it has to be like that to get the correct clearances. The copper tube has nothing to do with your problem, if it was leaking you wouldn’t have any oil pressure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You have no idea what your talking about Phil....he didn’t email me to post how great he is. I know how great he is and saw this blasphemy. I also am aware on how you were hard to satisfy while your car was there. You shouldn’t have ever bought a turbo Buick, bc you’ll never be satisfied. It...

That is your decision, if it cost a bunch of money to fix you will be liable to pay for it, no one else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shit or get off the pot Phill, go get a diagnosis and stop the madness on here.....you are really stretching now to blast Steve v that it just shows how disgruntled you are and that this is more of a personal problem you have against him. If it were me, I would have him look at it because IF...

Either have him look at it while he’s local or take it to someone else then post a actual diagnostics. But more trash talk isn’t getting this post anywhere nor resolving the issue you are having with the car. How would you feel if it turns out it was something simple that just happens after all...

Stage 1, ta performace alum heads, blowing smoke and oil out of both breathers after fresh rebuild. less then 300 miles on engine.

First off he made a simple mistake with the pickup tube and fixed it on his dime. That’s not the issue you posted about, your issue is now a oil leak and unknown diagnostics. So that is not relevant. Second is he is willing to look at it with you and has made that very clear. Last, I have had to...

I was there right before the car left, it had zero issues and ran great. I feel like your at the point where you just want to blame him no matter what....dude, it could be something simple. Check the simple stuff first, especially before calling someone out....do your homework first at...

Thanks because I don’t want to go back and forth either but I have a few things.....I was saying mine did the same thing with those style breathers, especially on the passenger side because one of the rockers was directly under the breather tube slinging oil up. Every turbo Buick isn’t the same...

Stage 1, ta performace alum heads, blowing smoke and oil out of both breathers after fresh rebuild. less then 300 miles on engine.

False - It could be either saturated oil on the breather filter burning or bc it was in the low 40s....probably the same type of day everyone’s exhaust looks like it’s smoking because of a difference in temperature, or there is a restriction in the pcv system or the pcv valve is trash. Simple...

If you don’t believe me, call up Cotton Performance and ask if that style valve cover breather will leak oil with aftermarket roller rockers. It’s a known issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
