More compression will let the power happen somewhat easier and with some positive side effects as already stated.... The gap will widen some as you push the turbo harder and approach the limits of the turbo/ compressor and turbine side limitations and efficencies....think less charge air temp...

1986_GNAT yes these are the same injector. I have seen them referred to as 95 and 96.....and I never understood why. I purchased these new from hartline. I will go out in a bit and see if there is an actual part number on them and get back to you.

Mine had the 3.8 SFI turbo lettering on the hood bump, the T emblem on each fender and a 3.8 SFI turbo emblem and a Buick emblem on the trunk lid .
