    BMS Crank.

Typo - T92 is really T96 Typo - R75 I believe was 4140, not 4340. I will confirm if I can locate my notes one day

    BMS Crank.

See post 31, has my list of codes. Some race teams stamped there own codes and would not know anything about them. If they started with raw forging, it would have of those codes. Sorry.

    BMS Crank.

T96 is a 4340 crankshaft, the list I posted years ago seems to be missing. Read all my previous posts. A 4140 crankshaft will not handle the power. The US 4140 couldn't handle the flex which all Buick crankshafts do, so they changed to 4340. They fracture when they flex and eventually will fail...

    Help

Most likely the governor spring came out. Pull governor and check, sometimes you get lucky and spring didn't get destroyed. If it is not pinned to prevent this problem I can pin it for you and supply correct spring if needed. Contact me @ 516-285-1103

So started to take this 200r4 apart and this is what I found so far.

I have the parts you may need. They are hard to find but I have good stock at the moment, but it is common to find an issue with the overrun drum that many overlook. I am rarely online, so best to contact me @ 516-285-1103

    Harsh 2-3 shift?

I spoke with him a few days ago. They wanted him to change out his boost valves to smaller ones. The trans is low on pressure already. I mentioned to fine tune his TV adjustment as the BTO TV setup is trick. It lets you adjust the light throttle TV pressures without affecting wide open. I keep...

what stall are you running with bolt ons stock block?

I can spec and build you the correct torque converter for your car. I don't sell another vendors product. My designs are spec'ed for the turbo Buick application only. Pump design and stator choice are very important when it comes to turbo cars. I am not sure if there is another Turbo Buick...

    200r4 from 442 into grandnational?

The 442 (KZ-F code) trans will install just fine, but around town shifting will be very quick at 12, 18 and 24 mph, while the BR will be 14, 22, and 43 mph. It will 4-3 coast down at 20 mph beside 37 mph of the BR. Most other characteristics are very close.

    TES-295 fluid?

I purchased 6 gallons three years ago and have not tested it yet, but the specs looked promising. I like the results in my builds using Dextron VI though.

Kirban 200-R4 Super Servo Kit - Worth it?

I would stick with stock servo, works much better than that servo can ever work. I had a box full of them here from take outs.

Rebuilt 2004r with low pressure and no rise from tv.

The pressure is way too low. Looks like you have some other issues. I would get rid of that reverse boost valve. I can set you up with correct pressure circuit. I also can set you up with the correct parts to make a CR work correctly. The trans will fail from lack of pressure and cost you more...

    3/4 piston/spring stack order

Stock size in an X plate is about .063". I do not like to see a hole size bigger than .078" even with upgraded parts. It just gets too abusive. You should also have a 3 clutch OD.

    3/4 piston/spring stack order

No, piston up against spacer plate. Stock spring is fine. No checkball, leave hole in plate alone.

B&M 70273 or 70266 aux cooler for stock D5 converter?

Sorry for the delay, real busy in the shop. Always best to call. I would just use the 1678 cooler with a stocker. It is easy to install, cools for what you need, it is plate and fin design which is correct for the 200-4R lock-up circuit to function correctly. A tube and fin design is wrong for a...

    3/4 piston/spring stack order

I have seen them both ways from the factory in a BR. Most are up against the spacer plate which is the only way to run this circuit in my opinion assuming you have a real calibration. It also helps with hard part failure when set up correct.

    Lockup vs Overdrive

Lots of questions and I can help you with all of them. I would suggest giving me a call to discuss. The knock was from starting the trans dry. David 516-285-1103
