Turbo inlet hose keeps coming off

Air inlet hose to turbo inlet normally does not blow off unless it pulled off from a bad motor mount on the drivers side or something. The only ones that blow off or come apart are the hoses from the IC to throttlebody and sometimes from turbo to IC.

if i were you i would get the part number off the side of one of the injectors you have now. you never know they may have already been changed. Most common replacement 30lb was a Lucas with a green stripe. Let us know what the part number is that you find on your injectors.

you never stated if the PSI readings from the pics in post #87 are with the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator off or on. 1 pic looks like 39psi which would be right with the vacuum line off at idle. Not sure about the other 2 pics at 33psi and whether or not the vacuum line was on or...

My bad I forgot its all stock and so is the fuel pressure regulator. What is the fuel pressure with your stock fuel regulator with car running and the vacuum line disconnected from the FPR?

You have a stock chip in your car, with stock injectors. Start the car, remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator and adjust anywhere between 38-40psi. Then re-attach the vacuum line to the regulator. That's where you should be on pressure for a stock GN.

Catman00 wrote - "Also my chip is not a TT it says acxa" ACXA is the stock chip that came in late 86 cars and all 87 cars. stock 86-87 GN fuel pressure (FPR) should be 38-40 psi at idle with the vac line off at the fpr. it will drop to 28-30psi with the vac line connected.

    Bent same pushrod twice

Not to weak if you shim them with a 0.030 shim compressing them down to 1.697" which will get you back up closer to the actual rated seat pressure of 92 lbs @1.7".

Running better but not the best.

If replacing the MAF and adding a translator is causing your codes according to what you stated in your first post then the issue to look for would start there. Did it run OK before you replaced the MAF and translator ? Are you sure its a 3.5" and not an LT1 3" or an 85mm ? Did you orient the...
