Got a rjc, seems to have cured the problem. Also bought an ac delco from a member here on the board.

I have had my car for 20 years and am on my 3rd fuel pump. Every time in the past mine quit working I got the car running again by banging on the gas tank with a hammer. Sounds crude but it works. Saved me from being stranded and needing a tow more than once until I could get it changed.

I searched eBay for part # 25095468 and cv893c but only see aftermarket PCV valves. I saw one listed as a delco but I'm not sure looking at it if it's an OEM part.

Oh, ya ya, that's what I've been using to monitor my engine temp. And when I toggle the coolant sensor off I think it gave a negative number for coolant temperature.

I don't know if it's the problem or not. I'm just bypassing it with a toggle switch to allow the car to start when hot. I have a scan master but don't know how to check my temp sensor with it.

I think the one on my car now is an AC Delco. I bought it from Johns Performance 10 years or so ago. The one I'm gonna get from the local auto parts store will most likely be an aftermarket.

I think I'm gonna get a module from local auto parts store today. My mechanic friend ordered it in his name and said that they will allow him to return electrical purchases. So I can just return it if it doesn't cure the issue. I'll post results if it works or not tonight. Thanks.

I searched and found that thread. Basically to do what he did I would need to buy an injector harness with a hot wire kit. A few posts back someone had me check the voltages at the injectors and I was under the assumption I had enough volts that my harness is okay.

I tr I tried adjusting the fuel pressure up and down when the engine was hot and wouldn't start. Made no difference. Still wouldn't start.
