    knock sensor in the 9's or faster?

    Any of you 9/8 sec guys NOT run a knock sensor? I find it hard to believe that the very fast cars run knock sensors. Especially those with solid roller motors which add valvetrain noise. Can any more of you comment?

    My cam sensor gear looks almost perfect too. Is the distributor gear the same material as our factory cam sensors? If not, I will change the distributor gear to match.

    Well I do have a billet hydrollic roller. I have never heard of such a mod and have run this cam setup with the factory cam sensor for about 5 years now. Is there a kit or something that oils the gear as you suggested?

    Louie do you use the HI-6 or HI-6R. Also do you use the rotary dials on the unit for the 2-step and then use the ECU for the rev limiter? I noiced that the HI-6 only has one limiter and it is only activated when one of the wires has power which makes me think that is only for a 2-step.

    Gotcha. My convertor is loose and I am driving through it (130 turning 6500rpm) but it leaves hard (consistent low 1.3's). I dont mind sacraficing some of the 60' if I will end up gaining more on the big end of the track. Just looking for the right convetor so I was thinking of goign with a l/u...
