Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

Several years ago I replaced the brake lines with Teflon lined stainless braided lines from Classic Tube. I'd replace the original brake lines at this point with something new for safety. Craig

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

My follow up. I installed a set of EBC RK7000 gen2 rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and rebuilt original calipers. Rotors look to be real nice quality and car stops great. I'm real happy with the England made EBC rotors. They cost about $180 for the pair but I think it's worth it for the quality and...

Best Non Lock-up Torque Convertor Brands

I am currently running a 10 inch non lock-up PTC that I purchased through Dusty about 10 years ago. I guess the best plan is to send it back to PTC to be cut apart checked and cleaned before I install it with my new transmission. The PTC converter is still in the car with old transmission. I...

Best Non Lock-up Torque Convertor Brands

What are the best 200R4 "Non Lock-up" torque converter brands ? I am considering a Pro Torque or PTC. Looking for a quality torque convertor which is going to be driven on the street and some foot brake bracket racing with it. My car has 450 horsepower so nothing crazy. Thanks for any input.

Car Pulls Left after Bleeding Brakes?

Thanks for the advice guys. I finally got the time to work on the car today. My driver side drum was tighter than the passenger side. I adjusted the passenger side about 8 more clicks. They them seemed to take about the same effort to remove the drums off the shoes. I drove the car around...

Summer 2022 I rebuilt the entire front end on my car - new bushings in upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, center link, idler arm, rebuilt steering box, repacked the inner and out wheel bearings, and installed new Hawk brake pads. I bleed the front brakes only just to make sure...

Source for Steering & Suspension rebuild parts?

June 2022 I replaces all my steering parts using AC Delco from Highway Stars. Everything except the idler are was made in the USA. Idler arm was made in Taiwan. I believe Proforged is all made in Taiwan if that matters to you but heard it's high quality. I also had my steering box rebuilt by...

    Replace the Walbro Fuel Pump?

I'm a maintenance guy, too. I also have a Walbro 255 in my car about the same age. I'm planning to leave mine in there. I'd think that pump is fine and no need to go bigger unless you are doing more mods or changing fuel type. It's tried and true. As long as fuel pressure and airfuel ratio...

    St. Louis Area Regal-T

The car only has two owners total? If it was Vic's car he would have had the hand controls installed. He also had a stainless steel panel at the rocker to allow him to get in using his wheel chair. Does the car have a maroon interior? Craig

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

Looks like the EBC rotors are part number RK7000 for our cars. They are more expensive but I'm always will to pay more for USA or England made parts. I'll try to very the manufacturing country and post it once I know. Thanks for all the replies. Craig
