Good place for engine rebuild in Oklahoma

Does anyone know of a good place in or around Oklahoma to get a quality engine build? I sold my GN to a friend and it need some engine work. He is wanting to build the engine for 700hp. Any suggestions of where the best place to take it would be greatly appreciated.

Ported intake, 109 block, injectors, 2 cranks, ECM, balancer, VC breathers, etc

I'm interested in the valve covers and the harmonic balancer. Are they still available? How much shipped to 74014? Thanks

    Just to make sure

Everything was installed correctly, all sensors plugged in. I also found some coolant mixed w/oil pooled up in when I removed the valve covers.

Now it won't start After I checked the compression, I set the cam sensor again, put new pushrods in, and replaced the spark plugs. I tried to start it, but it would just crank. When I continue to try to start it it would pop (that's all I can think of to explain it). I don't know why won't...

A couple of the pushrods were slightly curved, but the rest rolled smoothly on the floor...

I removed the rocker shaft and pushrods when installing the timing chain and they all seemed straight, but then again, I didn't lay them on a flat surface and inspect them. Where is the best place to get pushrods w/stock setup? (O'Reilly's, Autozone, etc.)

    Compression test problem

I finally got the time to do a compression test on my 87 gn; however, I can't get the fitting that goes into the spark plug out of the spark plug hole. I would turn the hose but it would just spin around the fitting. How can I get the fitting out??? Thanks

    Just to make sure

I packed the oil pump gears w/petroleum jelly and then primed w/a long screwdriver. I removed the driver's side valve cover after it started smoking and there is oil on and around the rocker shaft. Is there a tool I can rent especially for priming?

    Pushrods

Does is matter where each of the pushrods go? Or can any pushrod go in any hole?

    Just to make sure

I don't have an oil pressure gauge, and I just put new valve cover gaskets on. I don't have an oil cooler b/c I am running an F body radiator, so when I primed the oil pump I went by the instructions in the chilton's manual and packed petroleum jelly in the pump gears to remove the air. Is...

    Just to make sure

I put a new p/u tube and screen in, cleaned the oil pan, and got a stock timing chain. Maybe I didn't set the cam sensor correctly? I don't have a casper's cam setting tool, so I set it w/a multimeter.

No I didn't pull the heads... I guess I will have to search on the forums to find out how hard it will be to pull the heads and check everything out. Thanks for the help,
