    1986 Olds 442

Thanks, Rich. The 442 has no interior and won’t cost me much at all for what’s left. The body is decent all around. The problem is that in Hawaii, it’s difficult to find any decent g-body for sale that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I haven’t seen a decent Regal in probably years that was...

    1986 Olds 442

Anyone know what's interchangeable? I have an '87 GN and can get my hands on an '86 442. My GN is rusty, so I could use everything from the doors, quarter panels, and even the roof. I could also use the hood and trunk, but those obviously have different lines. Any help is appreciated...

Gages fuse keeps blowing during hard acceleration

Update: I took apart the dash and couldn’t find anything that stood out. However, the grounding strap behind the digital dash seemed a little worn, so I purchased a new one from Auto Zone for $5, swapped it out, and it fixed my issue. Thanks for all he suggestions everyone.

Gages fuse keeps blowing during hard acceleration

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s the motor mounts. After Doing some highway driving and hard braking, the fuse doesn’t blow. It only blows on moderate to quick acceleration. I I did just have my digital dash redone to resolve my “VOLTS” issue. Any other ideas out there?

My gages fuse keeps blowing during moderate/hard acceleration. If I’m not accelerating with haste, the fuse stays intact. Any ideas?

    Vacuum conversion

Thanks for the responses. I’m embarrassed to say that after destroying the push nut to finally remove it after a day, I pulled the carpet back and found another nut below it. I wrongly assumed the push nut was all but was very wrong. That was a wasted two days, lol But yes, I’m on Oahu...

    Vacuum conversion

Aloha everyone! I’m doing the vacuum brake conversion, and I can’t remove the adapter plate that converts from the 4 bolt mount on the firewall to the two bolt mounting pad. I removed the four interior bolts, and all the bolts are no longer held by anything on the inside, yet, it won’t come...
