    The Terminator Is Out There

"I can visit with people and brighten their day with social stimulation..." Yeah, until they realize they're talking to a fucking robot.

    fuel requirements for 800hp

That may be something to look into later. It looks like the ECU GN runs Tunerstudio with the autotune feature. I run the same program in my Turbocoupe. Very neat and easy to use.

    fuel requirements for 800hp

That hellcat pump and hanger looks like a winner...and will hopefully get the gas gauge working again. Do you think it's better to run a 10an feed with 8an return, or 8an feed with 6an return?

    fuel requirements for 800hp

I'm laying out a new fuel system for the new to me motor. Its a forged and girdled 109 running on pump gas w/alky, 8.7cr, 216/219 roller cam, cnc series GN1 iron head, 6466BB precision turbo, 124lb injectors, and TR6 ignition. I've gotten a lot of info from this thread. Fuel system for 800hp I'd...

    Reviving the lost ride

Looking great! If you're shopping for a rear bumper filler, I'd recommend the one piece rear bumper filler from Spoolfool on this site. Fits great and is a much cleaner look than having the 2 piece overlap deal at the gas filler area.

    stator support shaft play (video)

Not a problem at all. This was just one of those things, you know? Glad to have caught it before getting everything in the car and bolted down. That would have been a disappointment, to get a new combo up and running only to have it break a short time after. Yeah, still interested in upgrading...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Reading up on the dual feed mod, I would guess that Lonnie already did this on the trans since it's a stage II build with trans brake. Is there any way to tell once I get into the direct clutches? I see that the drum has to be upgraded as the stocker won't live under the higher pressures(is that...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Dual fed direct clutches? I have no idea. When I had the pan off to drill for a temp sensor, I looked over as much of the clutches that could be seen and they looked ok, but I know that doesn't say much. It may be a good idea to go farther into this trans since the time is right. Will be good...

    stator support shaft play (video)

No doubt! After digging into it, seems this was a timebomb that was close to going off. Found that the 2 overrun clutches look to be smoked or have had some serious heat in them, so I'll be replacing them as well as getting a new overrun drum. Really neat to get into this thing and see how...

    stator support shaft play (video)

I removed the vane and 10 paddles and everything is smooth and looks good. On the back half of the housing, the crack is barely visible from this side so if it was worse, would that have caused damage to the vane assembly? One of those metal rings sits on the surface with the crack. Glad it...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Got the pump out and heres the carnage. The pic showing the bolts is exactly how it came out...they backed out quite a bit and contacted that drum(what part is that?). I'm not seeing any remnants of locktite on those bolts. The backhalf of the pump body is cracked as shown. The filter looked...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Yes, he said it operated just fine. The trans fluid looked and smelled just fine, so I don't have any reason to believe otherwise. OTOH, it was operating just fine with this stator support being loose and on the verge of failure. What else might be on the verge of failing? Just figured that it...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Thanks for this. Reading up on the process of replacing the stator support, it looks like everything needs to be put on a lathe to make sure the support is true once pressed in. I don't have the equipment or experience to do this, though I'd like to learn. Also noticed that the flexplate looks...

    stator support shaft play (video)

Alright, I'll pull it out and see what's going on. Anything in particular to look for(other than loose bolts)? This is the first 2004R I'll be digging into...only other trans I've messed with was a full rebuild on a Ford C6. Also has some in and out movement as well. Didn't catch that in the video.

    stator support shaft play (video)

This trans was in a 9 second car and is a stage 2 from Extreme Automatics. Seems like an unusual amount of play, but wanted to see what y'all thought.

    Built 109 and 200-4R

I bought this setup from Troy. Awesome deal from start to finish...thanks a TON! Replying here because this is far more serious than I've ever been with these motors and want to make sure I'm doing this right. Going to start a thread later to get some insight and to get the parts list started...

WTB: '87 Drag GN GMP 1:18

As the title states, I'm on the lookout for the '87 drag GN 1:18 from GMP. Looking for something around $150 excluding shipping...about half of what the new ones are going for on eBay. Also will only buy from an established member of this site. Not going to get caught up in a scam. Let me know...

NOS parts search for 37 mile GN

Any pics of the roof dent that the toolbox left? I'm AMAZED every time I see a car from this era that is still its wrapper. Remember the '85 Camaro Z28 that was still unprepped? Now this one... Absolutely incredible.
