    Swapped to a 4L80E

I'm in the parts gathering phase. I'm going to document it all. Basically a stock 4L80E with a shift kit is good to 700+ hp. There are some budget controller schemes using GM controllers, but the Microsquirt kit will work standalone as well as with the ecuGN. The FAST/TCI stuff might also...

87 ECM, LT1 MAF & Translator Upgrades - Before and After

erics chips lock the BLM at idle, but only after they have run one cycle to 'learn'. if you make changes you should reset the ECM so the idle BLM can relearn. For a 3" LT1 MAF, Base should be set to 3,4, or 5.

Stock Speedometer Gear, Mph Reading in Ecu, Bigger Tires & Calculating Slippage?

I presume you really only care about the converter slip, and the actual MPH reading is not important? Is your ecuGN set for 2000 pulses, and does your 200-4R have the original speedo drive parts? Were you dynoing in 2nd, or 3rd gear? For converter slip, we only care about output shaft...

    IAT best place?

Most modern ecus model charge temperature based on several factors, since its not possible to measure the air temp inside the cylinder. Usually its based on air temp and coolant temp, relative to airflow (actual or estimated). If the ecu has this model, then the sensor in the up-pipe works...

    80 lb injectors and E85

its worth a try, proceed with caution. You will be maxed on the injectors and the pump. Turn the boost down a few psi and see what you get. Of course you will need to get the chip changed for the new combo. Bob

Swapped TPS Sensor, Got Cel Code, Seeing 5V, What Fixed Yours?

it sounds like there is an "open circuit" between the TPS plug and the ECU. most of the time for these situations, the wire is broken inside the insulation right near the TPS plug. The most common fix is to use a Caspers splice-end to replace the harness end and plug...

Swapped TPS Sensor, Got Cel Code, Seeing 5V, What Fixed Yours?

1.13 should read about 25% probably not a "short". might be an "open circuit", i.e. a broken wire going to C13. I presume that TunerStudio is reading the same as your Scanmaster?

Swapped TPS Sensor, Got Cel Code, Seeing 5V, What Fixed Yours?

if you backprobe the connector. key on. there should be 5v on pin A, around .5v on pin B, and 0v on Pin C at ecu connector, C13, you should see around .5v Bob
