    Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I'd like to use a distributor on my 4.1 and am not sure which intake to use. Are there any Clarence problems with using a gn Intake and a distributor? Im going to use megasquirt so controlling it is not a problem.

    I forgot Ill need to get a 200r4, not a 700. How hard are 200r4s to come buy. Yeah I do alot of highway driving to school and work so od will make a difference. Ill look into that weight kit, how do I select the right one? Are there different kits for different rpm ranges?

    Thats what I meant by a higher gear, I have my terms backwards. I thought the car would have 3.23s stock, but 2.41s are even better. What about those 2.41s with an od trans? It be sweet if I could afford a mpfi setup, that wouldn't hurt.

    oil feed

    Ill have to look at my block, I think there is a hole in the same place for the oil pressure sending unit, I could get one of those brass blocks and tap the hole out if its to small .Thanks alot for the pics and help Patrick.

    Im building a 4.1 and I was wanting to know where the 3.8s feed the turbo with oil? I figured it was on the front cover somewhere but i wasnt sure. Any help?

    while tearing my 4.1 down i ran into some things, a nice size chunk was gone from this piston Is there anything that can cause this or is it just from being ran to hard? What is that peice of metal in the water jacket? i figured it was where they injected the metal in the cast...

    What pistons are you going with? Ive read artiucle saying toonly go with a 208 with a 3.8, but the 4.1s would want some more cam wouldnt they?

    I pulled the oil pan off and the heads. On the the bottom the the piston where the pin goes through the piston is broke off. Anyone know what could cause that?

    In rosses site it says all buick v6s, $577 for flat tops, $620 for domes and reverse domes. Thats the best price i have seen. Another member on this site said he had a set of 4.00" stage II pistons, but is the pin height correct?
