I have a Comp turbo CT43 with an 80mm Compressor wheel and a HE79 exhaust wheel. The compressor cover has an 4" inlet and 3" outlet. It comes with 1.32 divided housing and a .96 undivided housing. It has the triple ball bearing center section that is water cooled. It was rebuilt in Feb of this...

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

I was actually disappointed that the COMP turbo didn't work out quite a bit. I mean the Comp turbo you can spin the wheel assembly with two fingers like a top. This suggested it was going to and did spool quick, plus its small cover was so nice to install and work around..it was like I had a...

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

I went 152 on the Comp 76 billet wheel with the 75mm exhaust wheel, but it did have a bigger compressor cover.

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

Just not sure why the Comp turbo didn't work as advertised. Comp advertises 1300hp with it. But I couldn't get it to go over 150mph.

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

I previously had a COMP turbo , ball bearing, water cooled, 80mm compressor wheel with 79 straight cut exhaust wheel, with a 0.96 undivided housing. The compressor housing of the comp turbo is smaller. It spooled up dang fast, but for 80mm compressor and for what I am looking for, it just didn't...

Drove it around the block today...160lb racetronix injectors did awesome...i could notice a little more lag in standard street driving, but not so much that it made me not want to floor the throttle

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

I dropped mine off at the fab shop yesterday. I had to order a new T4 flange and new wastegate output flange for the fabricators to use. It may be ready this Friday or beginning of next week.

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

So not going to be plug and play for sure. Turbo needs to be moved away from the motor about 1 inch. It hits the water pump as is. I have an opening with the fab shop next week, so I can get my T4 flange moved over.

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

I went ahead and got both the 1.10 and 1.25 exhaust A/Rs. I am going to try the smaller one first. The 1.25 is really visually larger. I hope the 1.10 gives me the best chance at fitment. I am taking off a small frame turbo and installing this dude. I should know by end of tomorrow if it is...

Anyone tried the Borg Warner S484 turbo yet?

Turbo arrived yesterday..It is big mama. This thing should have wheels and a motor, not the other way around. I will prob have several fitment issues. I just hope I do not have to redo the headers to raise the turbo up and forward some for clearance.
