    Some questions

Probably have to get Doc Brown to take you Back to the Future in 1987 and ask the engineers. :) I don't think it is a fusible link. Just get a little shrink tubing and solder that connection back together.

Here is one for the group interesting problem

Just crimp a ring connector on that wire and drill a small hole in the lip of the tank, use a self-tapping screw to secure it. The bent up corner is the best place, put a piece of wood behind it when drilling so you don't drill through the tank though.

    Ironies lately.

I walk around looking for the screwdriver that is in my pocket. That is more idiocy than irony.

    Wireless Printer that works

I have a HP 1102w that is so wireless, I come in sometimes and random people in the building have accessed it and printed a page. It is a one-trick pony, just a printer. LaserJet toner cartridge. HP is the best, I also have an old 1020 at home I've had for 18 years and still works perfect...

    Planning to give a try

It is time to sell my GN. 20 years and 3 months I have had it. In the last 5 years, it has just sat except to go for emissions and an occasional romp. I am just not enjoying it anymore though I will be sad to see it gone. It's been a big part of my life and it has been fun overall. The...

    Hypertherm Powermax900 plasma cutter

10-ish year old HyperTherm PowerMax900 plasma cutter well maintained, clean, and works great. 55amp output. You need a good CFM compressor to run this & 240 AC single-phase power (home dryer or stove type connection). I rebuilt the handle to new and installed a new 6' power cord. Has 26'...

I am here, safe, and undamaged. The community sustained damage in various locations. Nashville proper was heavily damaged East and multiple deaths sadly resulted. Where I work is a mess, roads are strewn with debris and powerlines. Semitrucks blew over on the interstate and have had it shut...

    stock header removal

Hopefully you are removing the turbo first which would necessitate unbolting the downpipe at the top. Are you just wanting to change the bolts out? I would loosen the downpipe so you can move it around, fairly sure it will be blocking access to some bolts.

Finally finished it up this morning, just time consuming. The hardest thing was to get the windshield molding clips secured. The headliner backing does not compress like the OEM foam so getting the clips to click in place took far more force than seemed reasonable. I really had to bang on...

    Surveillance cameras, what's the deal?

I have them all around my house, adding one more to a blind spot soon. Our town is putting up license plate tracking cameras to look for stolen/suspect vehicles but they "say" they will not be used for traffic enforcement. As long as tickets don't show up in the mail, its cool. We are close...

On it goes. The visor holes - 5 of 6 were ok, one on the driver side was not right and i had to drill. The map light mentioned above was not drilled and was also tedious to get lined up. The coat hooks were way off and I basically had to get one side close and make the other side match...

Thanks, slowly getting it secured. My plan for supporting it is working well, I also have the interior out except for the driver seat and console for room to crawl around. I am working front to back getting the visors installed first - they are a PIA because there is no way to locate them...

I have the ABS headliner here. It is covered in Medium Dark Gray which looks ok but is darker than the visors. I think it will look alright once reinstalled. The seats have faded over time, I can see the bottom edge of the rear seat is quite a bit darker that the exposed part. I have to...

    Oxygen sensor cleaning?

Just leave it alone. They are not meant to get submerged in anything other than the exhaust stream. They get hot and burn off contaminants by design.

    Fuel pressure problem

I think there is something going on with your Kenny Bell regulator. Injectors can't pass fuel unless they get electrical signals from the ECM and then open/close rapidly, ticking like a timer. You say you are hearing a spraying sound. Do you still have your stock regulator you could swap back...

    Radio help

The cig lighter wiring is notoriously bad. I installed an 8 gauge wire on mine + a new socket (they are generic) and it has been fine since.
