So I had a local shop that I trust remove my stock covers and replace them with the ones pictured. Now my GN smokes like crazy over 15 psi.

My first thought was they took my car out and beat the crap out of it. Nope.

Anyone else have this issue?

These are the new covers:

If it didn't do it with the stock breather, then I'll take a guess those new breathers are venting as they should.

AREN'T venting as they should.
Thanks for the reply.

What I should have mentioned is I pulled over and took the breathers out. Then I did another rolling 15 psi pull. Same story.

I’m guessing these block off plates have something to do with it: Gonna have to take them back off, inspect and remove these round deals…

Gaskets leaking?

I gotta ask, how did you get the breather stands to screw in all the way with those block off plates in the way, if that is the case?

The breather stands are welded on the covers. Then the breathers just press in to the top with a grommet.

Nothing appears to be leaking. I opened the hood and all is clean and smoke free.

Thanks for the reply.

I have those covers, I believe the round welded cap under the cover is for blocking oil splash which is why the sides are open.

I had the spacer removed then used a breather that could vent well but added the below to reduce any possible issue..

I also added a catch can off the PCV intake opening so WOT wouldn't add any extra Crankcase Pressure. Been clean sailing so far with this setup and vents noticeably well at idle etc.

If it's smoking and there are no signs of external leaks, check the turbo at the dp.
Crankcase psi forcing oil past the rings, valve guides. Add in the pcv leaking under boost.
Pull the up pipe off and take a look.
