Torn

I'm torn. I'd like to drive Nightshade, my 87 GN, more especially since I just spent so much on A/C and tires, but I'm about 600 miles short of hitting the 100,000 mile mark and don't relish it. Other drivers don't help either like the guy who about took out my front fender last night. There skid marks my new tires made on the road a couple of miles from home to remind me.

I have one complaint with my regal and its not being relaxed at any time when she is out of my garage.
Driving her im not so anxious but do have my moments.
I think the more I go out and drive/car shows/race tracks the less I feel that way.

That's the norm to be on the side of caution when profiling in your Buick. I've own mines since she was born. "35 + years" . When driving I have basically stayed the pace,
1: while driving stay away from cluster of traffic.
2: Stay in right lane and cruise and except the thumbs-up.
3: Try to avoid night/dark driving.
4: Only spool up on clear no traffic Hwy that you are familiar with.
5: These cars attract attention and other drivers now days are always doing something obstructive.
Don't feel lonely I've just got my AC service at the end of summer.

I drove mine through our first snow last week, and a bunch more. The truck had to go in the shop so the Buick took on DD duty. Put 300 miles on it in one week.

No regerts. No issues. Got above freezing today and I rinsed it off.

Get it appraised so you can properly insure it in case some jackhole takes you out, and drive it worry free.

I was out beating the shit outta mine spring to fall every weekend for 17 years at the track. If you're not gonna enjoy the car, then sell it.

It seems that 90% of the potential close calls I have are from other drivers being morons.

I'm constantly on the look out for jack ass drivers, weather it's me driving my daily Silverado or the Buick. I make an effort to point out to my kids when they are in the vehicle with me the other drivers around us who are on their phones and show them tell tale signs of the idiot texting and driving. I figure the best way to fix the problem of shitty drivers is to groom the next generation, or at least try to........

I drive mine as much as possible, but do have a few general rules when driving the car though.
-No parking in any Walmart parking lots
-Avoid congested traffic if possible
-Drive the car during any season until they put the salt brine garbage on the roads

I got mine April 20th 1987 on my lunch break. It WAS dark thanks to the time of year.

I drive mine whenever I can.

Lot's of time on the freeway's around Phoenix and from Lake Forest, CA to Valley Center or Long Beach.

Can't be afraid to drive 'em, that makes it no fun to own one.
