You REALLY need someone who know and does these transmissions. I had a well known trans shop royal oak build one, and repair it the next day, and the next month, and lasted 3 months. Then had it built by someone who knows the 200r4 well and ten years later and at least 100 passes showed me that the trans is a good piece, so have it done right the first time.

I have been told by numerous Members on this forum that Janis Transmission Inc. is one of the best in the region. It' s a little hike from the Detroit Metro area (3 hr / 200 mi.) but as boostingbuick states " have it done right the first time " is good advice. This is where I'm going when and if needed. I'm in the Ann Arbor area.

Can other member verify ???

I'll say it will be worth the trip. They know 2004r and transmissions in general. Helped me by answering some questions during my diy build. Good guys.
