ATR Header Question

I have an opportunity to buy some and they are for an external waste gate and I understand you can cap it but are those headers worth more than the ones that does not have the connection for the waste gate ? And yes they are stainless
 
An option I'm not going to use is not something I'm willing to pay extra for. May as well by Postons. Jet Hot coat the stockers and rock on if your not in the 9's!

Some w/o external waste gates have sold for as little as $200 but may not have been in pristine condition.

Just a reminder that you will need a down pipe that clears the ATR headers, such as the ones from GN1 Performance, RJC Racing, gbodyparts or others that are specifically for aftermarket headers.
If I recall, they were very close to the passenger side inner fender and in most cases melted the plastic if not wrapped at least in that area.

Thank you for the reply , I just have seen some asking a grand to 600$ , I just dont know the worth . I'm not ready for them but always could put them up for later .
 
ATR which clears the headers but is close to the inner liner. Vs THDP.

A nice ss set is worth 600 all day long. Try buying materials and building a set and you'll understand why.

Terry Houston made downpipes for “aftermarket” headers as well as Mease (MPE) and Southeast Turbo Perfomance (SE Turbo).
Of course ATR made them to clear their own headers and I’m sure Kenne-bell did too as their headers were very similar, but you don’t hear much about Kenne-bell downpipes. There may have been others as well.
 
In addition to what I said above I would steer clear of the first design that had the round ports.

I should have been more clear that there are two versions of THDP’s as well as others.
One version that fits stock headers and one version that fits aftermarket headers (ATR, Kenne-bell, GN1 KB and the new Cruz headers)

My apologies.
 
I have TH down pipe as well on stock headers , also have a brand new one sitting in the closest sold to me by red Armstrong :p

I hate you!! Lol
6yrs. ago I tried to get one from Red, but he was sold out already.
Red said the reason he stopped making them, he thought the market was saturated. He said he wished he was still making them. I said, me too.
 
Those headers fit just fine. You will need to check to see what fitting is on there for your wastegate you may need to buy. Check for the dump tube if it has one so it goes back into the down pipe.
