I've been playing pinball since I was 11 or 12. I've gathered a few over the years(All faves from my youth). A real time capsule vibe, kinda like our Buicks. I know I am not the only pinhead here!! I learned how to fix/repair them somewhat. Nothing like bringing one back to life after being dead for years!

Don't have one but due to nostalgia for things of my youth I remember one or two tables I would like to have. I'm trying to get a shop built for all of my garage stuff so then my attached garage may become a game room. I would like a couple of the old arcade stand-ups too. Of course now you can get cabinets that have lots of games on them but I don't think they have the same charm as the original single game stand-ups with the character decorations.

Cool. I know what you mean about the multicade games. The 60 in 1 thing is pretty cool, but still not the real deal. The really nice ones are pricey. Still kinda pondering owning one someday. I do prefer older pins and vids. Don't own any electro mechanical pinball machines. Maybe one day if the right one pops up for the right price.

kirban 2 cents worth.....few months back I sold a High Speed one that Ihad for years to another Buick owner when we moved 12 years ago it was in a game room new house no room used to play it for hours had rockalo juke box sold that before we moved to avoid moving it...

many yearsago at Carlisle I bought a 1933 or 1934 game which I have kept as it is rare...

in the 1980s I sold a ram air 67 firbeird to a guy who flew out to our house from Chicago turns out he owned electric windings which made all the windings for williams pinball machines...years later I vistie dhim at his house in a huge building he had over 300 pinball machines in numerical year older all plugged into the floor in perfect condition and only one car sat in that building...the 67 ram air firebird....true story...

in the 1970s I would travel with my Dad usually gone 10 days or so every month later on these trips I got smarter started to haul a trailer and if I did not buy a rust free muscle car down outh I tracked down pinball places and bought achiens and brought them home and sold them..

their is my connection with turbo regals and pinball machines...

Thanks for the story Dennis. I think I recall you spoke of pinball in your Inner Circle on your website. Very cool. I think John Spina of Casper's has some games too. A Getaway game or it's sequel High Speed re-themed w/a turbo buick would be nice. I've got a couple of games still on my want list. I usually pick them up myself in my truck if they are close enough. Getting harder to find. Kind of similar to vintage cars in alot of ways.

I never got in to pins (thank dog). I would have loved to got a Black Knight, Addams Family, or Gilligans Island.... but those were still commanded BIG money back when I watched the market.

Plus it's be hard to make room for pins when my Asteroids, Space Invaders Deluxe, Galaxian cocktail, Dig-Dug, Donkey Kong, Popeye, Frogger, Pole Position II cockpit, and Hard Drivin' simulator already take up so much room.

But at least I sold the TMNT 4 player a few years ago. :)

Nice collection of games you have there Earl. All faves from my younger days. I loved Hard Drivin' when it was at the arcade. I'd be competing w/businessmen in suits !! Black Knight would be a nice pin to have.

Mine actually started out as a Hard Drivin' but I found a set of Race Drivin' PCBs on Ebay years ago. So now I have three tracks, and if I can find another one, I can daisy chain them together.

Yeah Earl that s a pretty nice nostalgic collection. I was into MAME several years back and had a tons of games for that. I made a nice dual joystick desktop control panel to play it. I was a junkie in the arcade years. Played Defender for 12hrs straight on one quarter and finally had to quit. Same with original Asteroids and Robotron. Marathon games finally gave up.

I’ve got 5, 3 running, Black Knight, Black Knight 2000, and Frankenstein, and 2 going thru refurb, Special Forces, Lady Luck, they sit in the basement, unused for all but the cold months. Got into them years ago and learned about them hands on, Have never been a great book learner, give me a wiring diagram, DVOM, machine, and away we go, lol
They are not a toy for the faint hearted, as they are like TB’s, they run, or something needs to fixed and/or adjusted.
Now that I have the T in the garage, it’s hard to find time in the cold months to play/work on the Pinball’s, but still get in a few games when down there.
Long live the Silver Ball!!!!!!!

I learned how to repair my own games. Didn't know how to solder until I owned a pinball machine. Still learning all the time. Sad pinball was once everywhere and now it's a rarity. And when you do find some to play, they are too new and a $1 a game. Gimme vintage games anyday over the "latest and greatest".

Here's my collection so far

I've had 15 total but sold a few to buy new turbos lol. My most recent machine is a Robotron which I had to completely restore. Track N Field is probably the most played in my collection.

I have been looking for a silverball mania pinball machine. Played that machine a lot back in the fay

Silverball Mania is a good one w/great artwork. The game is pretty tough though. I do see them for sale often online. Just need to find one close to you. Good luck !!

I liked pinball but loved video games. Still love them lol, really love a mame cabinet. I play Call of Duty on Xbox1 with a couple buddies. Both my boys used to play with us but got into computer gaming. Mostly we talk in a party chat while the youngsters kill us over and over. When I was a kid I rode my bike several miles to hit the arcade an throw away my allowance lol. I had a Magnavox Oddsey, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Playstation 1,2 and Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. Mostly Call of Duty, Battlefield, Forza 5

These two are at my father-in-laws house...one may be on it's way to our basement....nice old classics... fun to play.
