I guess im gonna do the 86/87 conversion, because it cost the same as the 84/85 ignition control module. Unless there is a used one i could find that works. I need to test if my ignition module is faulty

I had the stock one, but I wasn't getting spark. So we swapped the cam sensor cap and the crank sensor.

So recently did a engine rebuild and I'm in the process of trying to break in the new 206/206 flat tapet comp cam. The only problem is no spark. We troubleshoot the problem and come up with replacing the crank sensor and cam sensor cap. Now the problem is that the cam sensor cap LED turns on...

your cam sensor cap might be bad. i have the same problem, and ive change the crank sensor and got spark but only when i bypass the cam and jump it thru the crank connector.

I think we soaked the lifters in the comp cam lube for a couple days and then applied more on the cam during the install. My mechanic swears it should be okay, but I just want input from you guys. Has this ever happened to any of you guys?
